The Mies Chair is packed in 1 large L shaped box, containing the one frame and cushions. The frame is wrapped with thick bubble wrap to protect from any damages.  So its just one-piece frame, no need to assemble that. The cushions are wrapped separately and put in the same box. The cushions are very easy to fit and to fasten to the frame as per instructions.
